Fleetwood is committed to being a Christ-Centered business. Some would say that notion equates to an oxymoron; we are convinced it's our calling.
What does it mean to be a “Christ-centered” business? We believe there are three key elements:
- An Eternal Purpose:
More than for profit, more than moral and ethical business practices. The company's reason for being is to glorify God and build his kingdom. “So whether you...do, do it all for the glory of God.” - 1 Cor 10:31.
- WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) Consciousness:
Using Jesus' model and Scripture to guide our corporate behavior and action. Great Commandment - Love God, Love your neighbor.
- Ambassadors for Christ:
Viewing all corporate relationships-customers, team-members, suppliers, our community, causes-as an opportunity to be a Christian influence. “We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us." - Cor. 5:20.
As a company striving to be "Christ-Centered," our highest goal at Fleetwood must be to do all three of these things well. We have much to be proud of yet we are far from perfect. Achieving this goal is our ongoing challenge.
